If you’re like most people, when you move into a home and you’re settling into your new bedroom, you think “I gotta get some blinds up or something, I don’t want everyone seeing my business.” If you’re me, it apparently takes you a few months to get to that point. The bedroom contained the same gross mini blinds that haunt the windows in the whole house. The DIY curtain project that I did for the guest room just didn’t feel right for the master bedroom. The room is in the attic, with angled ceilings, so there wasn’t quite enough room to hang curtain rods. Our solution was cellular or “honeycomb” shades. They’re pretty nifty – no cords! You just pull it down when you want it down, and lightly push it up in the center to move the shades up. Check out the pictures in the gallery.
